    • Government debt, tax increases, cumbersome regulations and useless lawsuits threaten our recovery.
    • We conservatives know that government can’t stimulate our way to prosperity.
    • Jobs and wealth come from the private sector.
    • Government’s role is to balance its budget, keep taxes low, make regulations light and get litigation down.

  • Just in time for Halloween we’re looking at scary numbers.
  • Trillion dollar deficits.
  • Nearly $13 trillion in accumulated debt.
  • The debt as a percentage of GDP was higher after WWII, but we owed that debt to ourselves.   Now we owe China.
  • Had our conservative Republican Study Committee budgets prevailed over the last 5 years, we would have spent $760 billion less.
